This Privacy Notice for Roam ("we", "us", or "our") describes how and why we access, collect, store, use, and share your personal information when you use our services, including when you download and use our mobile application (Roam).

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register, including:

• Names
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Usernames & passwords
• Car number plate

We also automatically collect device data, location data (GPS), and push notification tokens when you use the app.

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your information to:

• Facilitate account creation and authentication
• Deliver ride-booking services
• Enable real-time driver-rider communication
• Verify user identity and driver/vehicle details
• Protect our services from fraud
• Identify usage trends and improve the app
• Send administrative notifications

3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?

We may share your information:

• During business transfers (mergers, acquisitions)
• With other users as part of the ride-booking experience (e.g., your name and rating are visible to your driver/rider)
• With third-party service providers (analytics, mapping, cloud hosting, payment processors, communication services) who are bound by data protection obligations

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Maps Platform — location & routing
• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, cloud functions
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics — usage analytics
• Payment processors — secure fare processing

All third-party providers process your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

• Account information: retained while account is active; 180 days after deletion for fraud prevention
• Device & location data: 90 days
• Communication logs: 30 days
• Car number plate: 7 days

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You access the Services at your own risk and should only do so within a secure environment.

7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. By using the Services, you confirm you are at least 18 years old. If we discover we have collected data from a minor, we will deactivate the account and delete the data promptly.

8. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
• Restrict processing
• Data portability
• Object to processing
• Withdraw consent at any time
